Engine 71: 2005 Spartan/Rosenbauer, this holds 1,000 gallons of water. This was purchased through a FEMA grant. This is our primary apparatus used for structure fires and MVAs (motor vehicle accident). This replaced a 1982 Seagraves engine.
Brush 73: 2018 Skeeter, this beast holds 400 gallons of water. This was purchased with our own funding from both the county and mostly donations. This is our primary apparatus used for brush fires.
Squad 70: 2012 Ford F-350 medical/rescue squad. It holds all of our medical supplies along with our rescue tools for vehicle extrication. This is the primary apparatus we use on medical calls and MVAs (motor vehicle accidents). We have dedicated this truck to our late fire chief, Leonard Plemmons.
Tanker 727: 2012 Peterbilt, this beast holds 3,000 gallons of water. With help from a FEMA grant and donations we were able to acquire this in 2011. This is our primary truck for providing water support on grass and structure fires. Not only does this truck serve Union Valley, but is also used on mutual aid calls with Caddo Mills, Quinlan, Royse City, Cash, and anyone else that can use a little extra water. We have dedicated this truck to our late treasurer/firefighter, Bill Bray.
